The Honest Ledger

33 games have scores lost to history -- genuinely blank in every source Rich's archives and the crosscheck sheets agree on, so nothing here was reconstructed or guessed at.

7 hand-reviewed corrections have been applied on top of the raw extract, each one logged with its own reasoning rather than silently edited into the source.

115 known source discrepancies are documented in the build's own validation report -- most are 30-year-old hand-entry quirks (a transposed score, a mistyped opponent) that got judged once and left as historical record rather than "fixed."

And then there's Game 2012 week 8: Electric Foolin' Machines 51.0 - 50.0 Electric Foolin' Machines -- Electric Foolin' Machines playing itself. 2012 was a walk-out year; bye-week math points at the Moneychangers as the likely real opponent, but Rich's master file stands as recorded, so here it stays.

Where This Comes From

This whole site is built from Commissioner Richard McMakin's hand-kept archives -- 14 workbooks of per-franchise sheets, retentions, drafts, and player points, plus "the Lopp file," a single spreadsheet holding every PFL game from 1993 to today on one sheet. Those workbooks get extracted into tidy, diffable CSVs, and the CSVs get rebuilt into the database behind this page fresh on every deploy -- so what you're looking at is never more than a build away from Rich's own numbers.
